Janet Moreland has more than 35 years of experience in hospital, 家庭健康, 专业护理, community and public health primary care environments and has served as clinical faculty. As 医院 Administrator, 夫人. Moreland oversees the daily operations of the 70-bed, acute-care teaching facility in Belle Glade.
Before she was named 医院 Administrator in June 2019, 夫人. Moreland served as Lakeside Medical Center’s Director of Nursing, overseeing the leadership and direction of nursing, 病例管理, 护士导航, and clinical education at the hospital. Prior to that, she served as the hospital’s Director of 质量 and Patient Safety.

Thanks in large part to her leadership, Lakeside Medical Center was named an “A” rated, top hospital in the nation for patient safety, as recognized by Leapfrog’s 医院 Safety Grade for the fall of 2018. The hospital also received the 2018 Florida 医院 Association (FHA) 医院 Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) Award for excellence in patient safety.
Before joining Lakeside Medical Center in August 2013, 夫人. Moreland served with the Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County for more than 25 years. She was the Health Center Administrator for the C. L. Brumback Health Center in Belle Glade where she oversaw daily operations. Other positions she held during her tenure with the Health Department include senior community health nurse, community health nursing supervisor, senior community health nursing supervisor and ARNP coordinator.
夫人. Moreland received her Master of Science in Nursing Education and Master of Science in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida and is licensed as a Health Care Risk Manager.
夫人. Moreland made her home in the Glades area when she was one year old. She enjoys mentoring young adults in the community where she was raised to help them succeed in their future careers.
Jennifer dorc - medard, DO
Associate Chief Medical Officer
Jennifer dorc - medard, DO serves as the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Lakeside Medical Center. This position is a liaison between medical staff and administration.
She also plays an active role in developing the policies and procedures that ensures our patients at Lakeside Medical Center are getting the highest standard of Medical Care.
Dr. Dorcé-Medard is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician. She earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Ostepathic Medicine in New York City, NY. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Broward Health Medical Center. Dr. Dorcé-Medard speaks English and Creole.
